Art Deco 0.80 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1935
A fantastic late Art Deco solitaire engagement ring, set with a vibrant old European cut diamond displaying a slight champagne tint. Mounted proudly in a eight-claw scalloped-back setting leading to an ornate gallery. The decorative shoulders feature six (three either side) eight cut diamonds and a pair whistle cuts (an unusual cut based on the baguette).

Cut – Old European cut in the centre, with eight cuts and whistle cuts in the shoulders
Colour – L in the centre, with F to G coloured diamonds in the shoulders.

Carat – Approximately 0.80 carat in the centre, with an additional total of 0.16 carat (estimated) in the shoulders.
