Art Deco 0.80 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1940
A fine and distinctive Art Deco engagement ring. The white, bright, and lively old European cut diamond in the centre is secured in a six claw coronet collet. Distinctive detailing in the shoulders features twelve (six each side) eight-cut diamonds leading to a slim, platinum shank.

Cut – Old European cut. The diamonds in the shoulders are eight-cuts.
Colour – H (G to H in the shoulders).
Clarity –SI1 (VS2 to SI1 in the shoulders).
Carat – A known 0.80 carat in the shoulders (with a further approximate 0.06 carat in the shoulders).
Circa – 1940.

Measurements – The diamond is 5.6 x 5.7mm and sits 5.85mm from the finger.
