Art Deco 0.85 Carat Old Cut Diamond Cluster Ring, circa 1940
A stylish Art Deco diamond cluster ring. The square shaped head of the ring is centred by a white and internally clean old European cut of (approx.) just under half a carat, and is surrounded by a finely pierced and milgrained gallery set with a further sixteen eight-cut diamonds of varying sized. Fine and sharp geometric detailing in the gallery leads to diamond-set spear-shaped shoulders to a slim, D-shaped shank.

Cut – Old European cut diamond in the centre with eight-cut diamonds.
Colour – H in the centre, with G to I in the surround.
Clarity – VVS2 in the centre, VS1 to VS2 in the surround.
Carat – The centre stone is approximately 0.45 carat, with a further approximate of 0.40 carat in the surround.
Circa – 1940.

Measurements – The head of the ring is 12.5 x 12.3mm and sits 5.3mm from the finger.
