Art Deco 0.85 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1925
An exciting and singular Art Deco engagement ring. The slightly cushion shaped old mine cut diamond in the centre is secured by four claws in a square collet with distinctive diamond shaped detailing in the gallery. Undulating shoulders – in a shape that, to us, is reminiscent of clouds – are set with fourteen (seven each side) eight-cut diamonds to a fine and slender platinum shank.
Accompanied by an independent jewellery report from IGR (#30309710).
