Art Deco 0.85 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1940
A frankly stunning antique diamond engagement ring. The old cut diamond in the centre – graded by HRD as G colour, SI2 clarity – is high white, lively and extremely “spready” for its size. The stone is rubover set in a white gold mounting, with a delightfully intricate hand-pierced gallery. Decorative etching on the sides of each shoulder adds understated detail to the most lovely of diamond solitaires.
Accompanied a diamond grading report from HRD Antwerp (#180000077645).
