Art Deco 0.86 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1920
A truly excellent old cut engagement ring. The very slightly cushion shaped old mine cut diamond in the centre – graded as G colour, VS1 clarity – is explosively white, bright and clean. The stone is secured in a four claw platinum collet with geometrical detailing in the gallery. The spear-shaped yellow gold shoulders are set with four (two each side) eight cut diamonds, leading to a slim D-shaped shank.

Clarity – VS1 (VS1 to VS2 in the shoulders).
Carat – 0.86 carat in the centre, with an additional approximate 0.05 carat in the shoulders.
