Art Deco 0.89 Carat Old Cut Diamond Swirl Ring, French, circa 1930
An antique diamond engagement ring, with a twist. The old cut diamond in the centre is bright, vibrant and completely clean to the naked eye. The centre stone sits in an eight claw coronet collet which is embraced by a sweeping and tapering shank. Twelve (six either side) rose cut diamonds run down the shoulders of the band, to a double fluted yellow gold shank.
Accompanied a diamond grading report from HRD Antwerp (#180000021727).
Cut – Old mine cut in the centre, with rose cut diamonds in the shoulders.
Colour – J.
Clarity – SI2. The diamonds in the shoulders are SI2 to I1; all are clean to the naked eye.
Carat – 0.89 in the centre. With an additional approximate 0.12 carat in the shoulders.
Circa – 1930.
Measurements – The diamond in the centre is 5.82 x 5.90mm. The ring is 8.7mm at the widest point and sits 5.6mm from the finger.

Metal – 18k gold. French hallmarks.
