Art Deco 0.90 Carat Ruby & Old Cut Diamond Cluster Ring, circa 1920
A fabulously pretty ring. The six old cut rubies vibrant, rich and dramatic; set in a “petal” formation with a small old cut diamond as the bud. A surround of eighteen old eight-cut diamonds in the outer surround complete what is an undeniably lovely cluster ring. The fine hand-sawn gallery leads to slim and tapering yellow gold band. Marvellous.
Cut – Round faceted rubies. The central diamond is an old mine / miner cut with eight-cut diamonds to the edge of the cluster.
Colour – Diamonds are G.
Clarity –All the stones are clean to the naked eye; VS1 to VS2.
Carat – Each of the six rubies is approximately 0.15 carat, with a total estimated diamond weight of 0.23 carat
Circa – 1920.
Size – K (UK) or 5 1/8 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.
Measurements – The head of the ring is 12.1mm by 11.4mm and sits 5.6mm from the finger.
Metal – 18k gold. The diamonds are set in silver. Tested.
