Art Deco 0.92 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1915

A fantastically beautiful engagement ring. The bright and lively centre diamond is rubover set in silver within a simple yellow gold double gallery. Flanking the main stone are a pair of high white eight-cut diamonds which are rubover and claw set within diamond shaped collets. The slim yellow gold shank splits at the shoulders to accommodate and accent the shape of the diamonds in the shoulders. Stunningly realised.

Cut – Old mine cut with eight-cut accent stones.

Colour – The centre diamond is J. The diamonds in the sides are F to G.

Clarity – The centre stone is SI1. The diamonds in the sides are SI1.

Carat – The centre stone is a known 0.92 carat, with an additional approximate 0.07 carat in the sides.

Circa – 1915.

Size – N (UK) or 6.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.

Measurements – The diamond, including the setting around it, is 6.5 x 6.6mm. Sits 4.3mm from the finger.

Metal – Stamped 18CT – 18k yellow gold – and tests as such. The top part of the diamond setting is silver; tested.
