Art Deco 0.97 Carat Old Pear Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1930

Item #: 8657S040.

Old pear cut diamonds are rare, so we’re especially lucky to have one as white, bright and internally clean as this. The diamond – graded by HRD, Antwerp as H colour, VVS2 clarity – is secured in a handmade, platinum mount. Two claws at the base of the stone and two claws protecting the tip of the pear secure the centre, with neat hoop detailing in the gallery which leads to a slim, D-shaped shank.
