Art Deco 0.98 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1935
Just the most glorious vintage engagement ring. The old European cut diamond in the centre – graded by HRD Antwerp as G colour, VS2 clarity – is glowingly white, bright and full of fire. Although weighing just under a carat, the stone “spreads” to the size of a 1.20 carat stone. The diamond is secured in a eight-claw platinum collet with marquise shaped shoulders set with six (three each side) eight cut diamonds, leading to a slender D-shaped shank in platinum.
Accompanied by a Natural Diamond Grading Report from HRD Antwerp (#210000182413).
