Art Deco 0.72 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1920
Not much else we can say about this antique engagement ring apart from: Yes please! The cushion shaped old mine cut diamond in the centre is impressively white and full of fire and brilliance. The stone is secured in a four claw collet with an open gallery, allowing maximum light to pass through the diamond. Eight (four each side) eight cut diamonds are set in the spear-shaped milgrained shoulders, leading to a slim D-shaped shank in platinum.
