Art Deco 0.80 Carat Sapphire & 0.53 Carat Diamond Trilogy Ring, circa 1920
A wonderfully well balanced sapphire and diamond trilogy ring. The oval shaped sapphire in the centre is a rich, deep bright blue – the richness of which is emphasised by the pair of high white and lively old mine cut diamonds set with side. The diamonds are set in platinum coronet collets, leading to a substantial yellow gold shank with distinctive fluted detailing down the side and shoulders. A truly lovely piece.
