Art Deco 1.00 Carat Old Cut Colour F Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1920

An absolutely out of this world antique diamond. The old European cut – graded by HRD, Antwerp as F colour, VS2 clarity – is blindingly white and almost electric with fire and brilliance. The stone is secured in a six claw open collet, allowing as much light as possible to pass through the stone. Six (three each side) old cut diamonds are set in the shoulders, leading to a slim and fluted platinum shank. Total class.

Cut – Old European cut with old mine cuts in the shoulders.

Colour – F (G to H in the shoulders).

Clarity – VS2 (VS2 to SI1 in the shoulders).

Carat – 1.00 carat in the centre (with a further approximate 0.12 carat in the shoulders).

Circa – 1920.

Measurements – The diamond is 6.24 x 6.32mm and sits 5.1mm from the finger.
