Art Deco 1.01 Carat Old Cut Colour J Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1925
A super old cut engagement ring. The centre diamond – graded by HRD as J colour, SI1 clarity – is secured in a six claw collet with curved, sweeping detailing in the gallery. Wide, spear-shaped shoulders are set with six (three each side) eight-cut diamonds, leading to a slim D-shaped platinum shank. A proper stunner.
Accompanied by a diamond grading report from HRD Antwerp (#180000145820).
Cut – Old mine cut diamond in the centre with eight-cut diamonds in the shoulders.
Colour – J (H in the shoulders).
Clarity – SI1 (VS1 in the shoulders).
Carat – 1.01 carat in the centre (with a further approximate 0.08 carat in the shoulders).
Circa – 1925.
Measurements – The diamond is 5.8 x 5.9mm and sits 5.5mm from the finger.
