Art Deco 1.01 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1940
An exquisite vintage diamond engagement ring. The old mine cut diamond in the centre – graded by HRD as J colour, VS2 clarity – is secured by four double claws within a beautifully crafter collet. Six (three each side) eight cut diamonds are set in shaped, pierced shoulders above ‘S’ shaped cheniers to a slim, platinum shank.
Accompanied by a diamond report from HRD (#180000077603).
Cut – Old mine cut diamond in the centre with eight cut diamonds in the shoulders.
Colour – J. (The diamonds in the shoulders are G to H).
Clarity – VS2. (The diamonds in the shoulders are VS1 to VS2).
Carat – The centre is a known 1.01 carat, with an additional approximate 0.09 carat in the shoulders.
Circa – 1940.
Size – O 1/2 (UK) or 7.25 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.
Measurements – The diamond is 6.22 x 6.43. Sits 7.25mm from the finger.
