Art Deco 1.04 Carat Natural Ruby & Old Cut Diamond Cluster Ring, circa 1935
Just about the perfect ruby and diamond ring. The natural, unheated ruby displays a rich, deep pigeon blood red – the colour of which is emphasised by ten white and clean old mine cut diamonds in the surround. The stones are secured in a platinum coronet setting with a further two diamonds (one each side) set in platinum shoulders at the top of the 18k yellow gold shank.
Accompanied by a ruby report from Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) stating the ruby shows no indication of heating, and originates from Mozambique.
Cut – Cushion cut ruby with old mine cut diamonds.
Colour – The diamonds are H to I.
Clarity – Slight inclusions in the ruby. The diamonds are VS1 to SI1; all are clean to the naked eye.
Carat – The ruby is a known 1.04 carat. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.08 carat.
Circa – 1935.
Size – M 1/2 (UK) or 6.25 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – The head of the ring is approximately 11.5 x 13.9mm. Sits 6.8mm from the finger.
Metal – 18k yellow gold and platinum. Tested.
