Art Deco 1.06 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1925
A glorious and unique Art Deco engagement ring. The old European cut diamond in the centre – graded by GIA as I colour, VS1 clarity – is secured in a platinum collet with triangular shaped claws which makes the diamond appear slightly star shaped. The hexagonal shaped collet features “V” detailing in the gallery, leading to spear shaped yellow gold shoulders set with six (three each side) eight-cut diamonds of graduating sizes, to a slim 18k gold shank.
