Art Deco 1.09 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1925
A dream of a ring. The old mine cut in the centre is bright and internally clean, and is set in a square collet with four triple claws. Two eight-cut diamonds are set in the shoulders in heart-shaped collets leading to a slim knife-edge band.

Cut – Old mine / miner cut in the centre, with eight-cut diamonds the shoulders.
Colour – I in the centre, H in the shoulders.
Clarity – VS1. (VS2 to SI1 in the shoulders.)
Carat – 1.09 in the centre, with an additional estimated 0.10 carat in the shoulders.
Circa – 1925.
Size – L 1/2 (UK) or 5 7/8 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – The centre stone is approximately 6.2 x 6.1mm and sits 6.3mm from the finger
Metal – Platinum (and 10% iridium). Stamped.
