Art Deco 1.10 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1935
A superb late Art Deco engagement ring featuring a high white and very clean cushion shaped old mine cut diamond. Set with a scalloped back plate which reflects light back into the stone (as well as making diamond appear larger – never a bad thing!). The proud, ornate shoulders baguette and single cut diamonds which leads to a fine platinum band. Imposing and beautiful.

Cut – Cushion shaped 0ld mine cut in the centre with baguette and eight cuts in the shoulders.
Colour – J in the centre. The diamonds in the shoulders are G to H.
Clarity – SI1.
Carat – The centre diamond is 1.10. The remaining stones add up to a further estimated 0.15 carat.
Circa – 1935.
Size – L (UK) or 5.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.
Measurements – The diamond is 6.3mm by 5.8mm and sits 6.7mm from the finger.
Metal – Stamped PLATINUM, and tests as such.
