Art Deco 1.22 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1935
A super Art Deco engagement ring, set entirely in platinum. The central old cut diamond is set in a four claw “V” collet, leading shoulders set with a pair of long tapered baguette cut diamonds. The slightly warm tone of the main diamond is deliberately emphasised by the colourlessness of the accent stones. An absolutely beauty.
Cut – Old mine / miner cut in the centre, with a tapered baguettes in the shoulders.
Colour – The central diamond is K. with F coloured diamonds in the shoulders.
Clarity – All the diamonds are VS1
Carat – 1.22 carat in the centre, with an approximate total of 0.30 carat in the shoulders.
Circa – 1935.
Size – O 1/2 (UK) or 7.25 (US). Complementary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.
Measurements – The diamond is 6.5mm in diameter and sits 7.6mm from the finger.
Metal – Platinum. Stamped.
