Art Deco 1.24 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1920
A seriously beautiful antique engagement ring. The old mine cut diamond in the centre – graded by IGI Antwerp as I colour, SI1 clarity – is impressively bright and lively. The stone is secured by four claws set at the compass points, with fine geometric detailing in the gallery. Eight (four each side) eight-cut diamonds are set in the milgrained shoulders, leading to a slim platinum shank.
