Art Deco 1.27 Carat Old Mine Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1930
A blindingly white old cut diamond takes centre stage in this near perfect antique engagement ring. The old mine cut diamond in the centre – graded as F colour, VS2 clarity by HRD – is pure, bright and gleamingly white. The centre stone is set in an unfussy four-claw collet, with a pair of baguette cut diamonds set in the shoulders of the slim, D-shaped platinum shank.
Accompanied a diamond grading report from HRD Antwerp (#180000077620).
Cut – Old mine cut in the centre, with baguette cut diamonds in the shoulders.
Colour – F (with F to G in the shoulders).
Clarity – VS2 (the diamonds in the shoulders are VS1).
Carat – 1.27. With an additional approximate 0.10 carat in the shoulders.
Circa – 1930.
Measurements – The diamond in the centre is 6.39 x 6.24mm. Sits 5.5mm from the finger.
