An old cut diamond engagement ring of true quality and beauty. The cushion shaped diamond in the centre – graded by HRD as J colour, VS1 clarity – is secured in a six claw open collet above a scalloped back-plate, allowing maximum light to pass through this bright, lively diamond. The white gold gallery features elegant scroll work, echoed in the “S” shaped cheniers. On a slim yellow gold shank, with diamond set, tapering shoulders.

Accompanied by a diamond identification report from HRD (#180000145831).

Cut – Old mine cut (eight-cuts in the shoulders).

Colour – J (F to G in the shoulders).

Clarity – VS1 (VS1 to VS2 in the shoulders).

Carat – 1.30 carat in the centre, with an additional approximate 0.06 carat in the shoulders.

Circa – 1940.

Size – N (UK) or 6.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.

Measurements – The diamond is 6.39 x 6.27mm. Sits 7.3mm from the finger.

Metal – Stamped 750 – indicating 18k yellow and white gold – and tests as such.
