Art Deco 1.31 Carat Old Marquise Cut Diamond Ring, French, circa 1925
Utterly, utterly magnificent – and just a little bit bonkers. The long, rubover set marquise cut diamond in the centre is white, bright and exceptionally lively. Wide, graduating shoulders are pavé-set with thirty-four (seventeen either side) old and eight-cut diamonds to a light and delicate platinum shank. Framing the piece are a pair of white gold hoops – retro-fitted by a clearly talented goldsmith – which add both strength and style to this impressive Deco stunner.
Accompanied by an independent jewellery report.
