Art Deco 1.34 Carat Old Cut Diamond Drop Pendant, circa 1940
A wholly arresting vintage diamond pendant. The wonderfully versatile piece can be worn both as an everyday piece or to mark more formal occasions. Featuring a large, 1.08 carat old cut diamond in the bottom with fine, sweeping detailing in the gallery. Five smaller rubover old European cut and eight cut diamonds or graduating sizes are set in individual articulated collets, leading to a hidden bale.

Cut – Old mine cut in the bottom, with old European cuts and eight-cut in the drop.
Colour – The large diamond is H. The smaller diamonds are F to G.
Clarity – The large diamond is SI2. The smaller diamonds are VS2 to SI1.
Carat – The large diamond is a known 1.08 carat, with a further approximate 0.26 carat in the drop.
Circa – 1940.
Measurements – The pendant, not including the chain, is 23.75mm. The bottom diamond, including the rubover setting, is 6.85 x 6.8mm.
Metal – White gold. Tested.
