Art Deco 1.42 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1935
An extraordinarily lovely ring. The old mine cut diamond in the centre – bright, lively and internally clean – is rubover set in white gold. The beautifully shaped shoulders are vented with three rows grain set with twelves (six either side) rose cut diamonds to a slim white gold shank. Just gorgeous.

Cut – Old mine cut. The accent diamonds are a mix of old cuts and eight-cuts in the shoulders.
Colour – I in the centre. The diamonds in the shoulders are G to I.
Clarity – VS2. The diamonds in the shoulders are SI1 to SI2; all clean to the naked eye.
Carat – A known 1.42 carat in the centre. The total approximate weight of the diamonds in the shoulders is 0.05 carat.
Circa – 1935.
Size – P 1/2 (UK) or 7.75 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.
Measurements – The diamond in the centre is approximately 7mm in diameter. The ring is 7.7mm at the widest point and sits 4.6mm from the finger.
Metal – 18k white gold. Tested.
