Art Deco 1.51 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1915
A highly impressive diamond engagement ring. The high white and exceptionally lively cushion shaped old cut diamond in the centre – graded by GIA as H colour and SI2 clarity – is secured in a stripped back four claw setting. Six (three either side) eight cut diamonds are set in the shoulders, leading to a slim knife-edge platinum shank.
Accompanied by a GIA certificate.
Cut – Old mine cut in the centre with eight-cuts in the shoulders.
Colour – H.
Clarity – SI2. (The diamonds in the shoulders are VS1 to VS2).
Carat – The centre is a known 1.51 carat, with an additional approximate 0.09 carat in the shoulders.
Circa – 1915.
Measurements – The diamond is 6.6 x 6.21mm. Sits 5.3mm from the finger.
Size – K 1/2 (UK) or 6.75 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
