Art Deco 1.51 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, French, circa 1920
Just about the most perfect antique diamond engagement ring. The old mine cut diamond in the centre – graded by HRD as H colour and SI1 clarity – is phenomenally bright and sparkly. The stone is secured in a eight claw collet above a simple double gallery, leading to a slim and simple platinum shank set with six (three either side) eight-cut diamonds in the shoulders. Absolutely stunning.
Accompanied a diamond grading report from HRD Antwerp (#180000021729).
