Art Deco 1.57 Carat Old Mine Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1920
We haven’t discovered many engagement rings as stunning as this one. The old mine cut diamond in the centre – graded by IGI as H colour, VS1 clarity – is utterly dazzling. The stone is secured in a six claw collet with six (three each side) baguette cut diamonds set long-ways in a step down formation, which leads to a slim D-shaped platinum shank. Pure magnificence.
