Art Deco 1.60 Carat Old Cushion Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1935
A beautiful diamond solitaire which exudes vintage charm. The bright and lively cushion shaped old mine cut diamond is secured by four double-claws in an open “V” gallery. The yellow gold shank widens slightly at the shoulders, and is set with six (three each side) high white eight-cut diamonds.

Cut – Cushion shaped old mine cut in the centre, with eight cuts in the shoulders.
Colour – L. (Accent diamonds are H to M.)
Clarity – VS2. (VS2 to SI1 in the shoulders.)
Carat – 1.60 carat in the centre, with an additional approximate 0.19 carat in the shoulders.
Circa – 1935.

Measurements – The diamond is 7.14 x 6.28mm and sits 6.6mm from the finger.
