Art Deco 1.80 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1925
A serious bolder of a diamond in a fine and delicate platinum setting. The extremely lively high white old cut diamond is set in a six claw platinum mount with heart motifs in the gallery. The decorative and unusual shoulders feature high set square step cut diamonds and baguette cut diamonds either side, leading to a fine D-shaped platinum band.
Cut – Old mine / miner cut in the centre, with square step cuts and baguette cuts in the shoulders.
Colour – H.
Clarity – I1. A couple of marks are faintly visible to the eye, but this in no way impact the fire and vibrancy of the stone.
Carat – 1.80 in the centre, with an estimated additional 0.12 carat in the shoulders.
Circa – 1925.

Measurements – The diamond is 7.7mm by 7.8mm and sits 6.5mm from the finger.
