Art Deco 1.88 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1920
An achingly beautiful old mine cut diamond engagement ring. The centre stone – graded by IGI as J colour, SI1 clarity – wonderfully bright and full of sparkle. The stone is secured by four double claws with arresting detailing in the gallery. Ten (five each side) eight-cut diamonds are set in the shoulders, leading to a slender platinum shank.

Cut – Old mine cut in the centre with eight-cuts in the shoulders.
Colour – J in the centre (H to I in the shoulders).
Clarity – SI1. (VS2 to SI1 in the shoulders).
Carat – 1.88 (with an additional approximate 0.10 carat in the shoulders.)
Circa – 1920.
Size – M (UK) or 6 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can be sized up or down.
Measurements – The diamond is 7.08 x 6.50mm and sits 7mm from the finger.
