Art Deco 1.90 Carat Natural Sapphire & 1.59 Carat Old Cut Diamond Crossover Ring, circa 1925
It’s something of an honour to feature this treasure in our collection. The natural (no heat, no treatment) sapphire is a glowing royal blue with flashes of indigo. This stone sits across from a blindingly white high old European cut diamond which displays an impressive amount of fire and brilliance. Both of the main gems are set in beautifully stripped back six claw collets connected to an elegant platinum shank. Adorned eight eight-cut diamonds in the shoulders.
Accompanied by a sapphire report from Gemmoligical Certification Services (GCS) stating the sapphire shows no indication of heating, and originates from Madagascar.
