Art Deco 10.45 Carat Star Sapphire & Rose Cut Diamond Ring, French, circa 1915
Hypnotically lovely. The large, greyish blue star sapphire almost glows from within and displays a lovely, distinct asterism. Sixteen bright white rose cut diamonds surround the centre stone in a beautifully refined pierced gallery. The tri-split shoulders lead to a slim, flat shank – all in a soft, rose gold.

Clarity – The diamonds are SI1 to I1; all are clean to the naked eye. The sapphire is clean to the naked eye (top). There are some visible inclusions on the bottom of the stone.
Carat – The sapphire is 10.45 carat. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.56 carat.
