Art Deco 1.72 Carat Old Cut Diamond Coronet Cluster Ring, circa 1920
A superb vintage diamond cluster ring. The very slightly cushion shaped old mine cut diamond in the centre is secured by twelve fine platinum claws within a surround of twelve eight-cut diamonds secured in a coronet setting. The plain, spear shaped shoulders are small ridge, and conform to a slim D-shaped platinum shank.
Accompanied by an independent jewellery report by IGR (#30309724).
Cut – Old mine cut diamond in the centre with eight-cut diamond in the surround.
Colour – The centre is K. The diamonds in the surround are F to I.
Clarity – The centre is SI2. The diamonds in the surround are VS2 to SI1.
Carat – The centre is approximately 1.37 carat, with a further approximate 0.35 carat in the surround.
Circa – 1920.
Size – L 1/2 (UK) or 5 7/8 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – The head of the ring is approximately 11.4 x 11.7mm and sits 7.75mm from the finger.
Metal – Platinum. Tested.
