Art Deco 2.00 Carat Old Cut Diamond Double Solitaire Ring, circa 1920
A stunningly realised Art Deco beauty. The two central old European cuts – both conservatively estimated at 1.00 carat each stone – are rubover and milgrain set. The trapeze shaped shoulders both hold a pair of eight-cuts split by a royal blue baguette cut sapphire, which leads to a slim platinum shank. A rare and striking piece.
Cut – Old European cut diamonds in the centre, with eight-cut diamonds and baguette cut sapphires in the surround.

Carat – Each of the centre stones is approximately 1.00, with a further approximate 0.20 carat of diamonds in the surround. The sapphires are approximately 0.10 carat each.

Measurements – The head of the ring is approximately 13.5mm by 13.5mm and sits 4.4mm from the finger.
