Art Deco 2.01 Carat Natural Sapphire Solitaire Ring, circa 1920
An utterly spectacular sapphire engagement ring. The round cut sapphire in the centre – certified as natural and unheated – is a deep, velvety blue. The stone is secured in a simple four claw platinum collet with a pair of exceptionally rare bullet shaped step cut diamonds in the shoulders, leading to a slim 18k white gold shank.
Accompanied by a sapphire report from The Gem & Pearl Laboratory stating the sapphire shows no indications of heating.
Cut – Round cut sapphire with bullet shaped step cut diamonds in the shoulders.
Colour – The diamonds are E to F.
Clarity – The sapphire is eye clean. The diamonds are VS1 and SI1.
Carat – The sapphire is 2.01 carat with a total approximate diamond weight of 0.16 carat
Circa – 1920.
Size – S (UK) or 9 1/8 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – The sapphire is approximately 7.3 x 7.4mm. Sits 5.4mm from the finger.
