Art Deco 2.11 Carat Old Cut Diamond Ring, French, circa 1925
They simply don’t make rings like this anymore. This breathtaking Deco diamond ring features a 1.33 carat old mine cut diamond – graded by HRD Antwerp as I colour, SI2 clarity – set within a square, rubover collet. The wonderful surround features 28 further diamonds in a geometrically shaped and vented surround, leading to a slim D-shaped platinum mount. Utterly exceptional.
Accompanied by a diamond grading report from HRD Antwerp (#190000156846).
Cut – Old mine cut in the centre, with old mine cut and eight-cut diamond in the surround.
Colour – I in the centre. H to J in the surround.
Clarity – SI2 in the centre. The surrounding diamonds are VS2 to SI2; all are clean to the naked eye.
Carat – A known 1.33 carat in the centre with a further approximate 0.78 carat in the surround.
Circa – 1925.
Measurements – The diamond is 6.44 x 5.81mm. The ring is 12.2mm at the widest point and sits 7.5mm from the finger.
