Art Deco 2.17 Carat Old European Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1930

A vintage engagement ring of utter class. The old European cut diamond – graded J colour and SI2 clarity by HRD – is fantastically white, bright and vibrant. The stone is secured in an eight-claw platinum collet, with a pair of tapered baguettes set either side to a slim, D-shaped yellow gold shank. Put simply – this is magnificent.

Cut – Old European cut, with baguette cuts in the shoulders.

Colour – J (G in the shoulders).

Clarity – SI2 (VS1 in the shoulders).

Carat – 2.17. With an approximate 0.24 carat in the shoulders.

Measurements – The diamond is 8.59mm by 8.88mm and sits 6mm from the finger.

Metal – 18k yellow gold. The head of the ring is platinum. Tested.
