Art Deco 2.25 Carat Fancy Light Brown Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1935
So beautiful, so delicate – and wonderfully, wonderfully unique. The central old mine cut diamond is soft cognac colour and is virtually alive with fire and vibrancy. This striking stone is bezel set with an sweeping and open gallery, leading to milgrained shoulders set with eight (four either side) rose cut diamonds.
Cut – Old mine / miner cut in the centre. The diamonds in the shoulders are rose cuts.
Colour – Light fancy brown, with G colour diamonds in the shoulders.
Clarity – SI1 in the centre. The diamonds in the shoulders are VS1.
Carat – Approximately 2.25 carat, with an additional estimated 0.10 carat in the shoulders.
Circa – 1935.
Size – P 1/2 (UK) or 7.75 (US). Complementary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – The diamond is approximately 9mm by 8.9mm and sits 6.1mm from the finger.
Metal – Platinum. Stamped.
