Art Deco 2.25 Carat Yellow Sapphire Solitaire Ring, circa 1935
A refined Art Deco yellow sapphire ring. The emerald cut centre stone displays a bright and almost amber coloured yellow, and is rubover set in milgrained platinum. Four (two each side) bright white baguette cut diamonds frame the sapphire, with a further diamond set in each shoulder leading to a slim and flat platinum shank. A beautiful and stylish piece.

Cut – Emerald cut sapphire and baguette cut diamonds.
Colour – The diamonds are F to G.
Clarity – The sapphire is loupe clean. The diamonds are VS1 to VS2.
Carat – The sapphire is approximately 2.25 carat with a total approximate diamond weight of 0.42 carat.
Circa – 1935.
Size – N 1/2 (UK) or 6.75 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – The sapphire, including its setting, is 7.4 by 9.6mm. Sits 4.6mm from the finger.
Metal – Stamped PLAT – indicating platinum – and tests as such.
