Art Deco 2.33 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1925
An ornate and bold old cut engagement ring. The old mine cut diamond in the centre is secured in an eight claw collet with an open gallery and set above a scalloped back-plate, which reflects maximum light into this incredibly bright and internally clean stone. The highly ornate shoulders feature four eight-cut and one baguette cut diamond each side in an etched and milgrained setting, leading to a slim and flat platinum shank. An amazing piece of jewellery.
