Art Deco 2.42 Carat Old Cut Diamond Twist Ring, circa 1930
A wonderfully big and bold Art Deco diamond ring, with a twist. The centre stone – weighing a known 2.42 carat – is secured in a eight-claw collet with heart motifs in the gallery. The sweeping, ‘S’ shaped shank holds eight (four each side) chunky old cut diamonds in the graduating shoulders, to a D-shaped platinum shank. Stunningly crafted and wonderfully unique.
