Art Deco 2.43 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1920
Such an impressive antique engagement ring. The glowing old European cut diamond in the centre – graded as I colour, SI2 clarity – is alive with fire and brilliance. The stone is secured in a six claw collet featuring strong, geometric V’s in the gallery. Eight (four each side) eight-cut diamonds are set in the milgrained shoulders, leading to a slim, platinum shank.
