Art Deco 2.50 Carat Australian Opal Ring, circa 1935
A wonderful and unique ring. The opal holds a fine play of colour, with clear flashes of red and blue and secondary shows of green and yellow. This entirely natural stone is showcased in a eight claw yellow gold mount that sits nice and snug to the finger, with six (three either side) eight cut diamonds in the shoulders. A treasure.
Cut – Oval shaped cabochon. The diamonds are eight-cuts.
Carat – Approximately 2.50 carat. With a total estimated 0.09 carat of diamonds.
Circa – 1935.
Size – L 1/2 (UK) or 5.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – The opal is 10.5mm by 9.4mm. Sits 4.7mm from the finger.
