A fabulous sapphire solitaire ring. The rectangular step-cut sapphire – certified as natural and unheated – displays a rich and bright blue. Six (three each side) old cut diamonds are in platinum box settings in a step-down formation, leading to a slim 18k yellow gold shank.
Accompanied by a sapphire report from Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) stating the sapphire shows no indication of heating, and originates from Madagascar.
Cut – Rectangular step-cut sapphire and old mine cut diamonds.
Colour – The diamonds are G to H.
Clarity – The sapphire is loupe clean. The diamonds areVS2 to SI1.
Carat – The centre sapphire is approximately 2.50 carat. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.24 carat.
Circa – 1940.
Size – N (UK) or 6.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – The sapphire is 8.6 x 6.4mm and sits 5.2mm from the finger.
Metal – 18k yellow gold and platinum. Tested.
