Art Deco 2.54 Carat Old Cushion Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, French, circa 1930

This important French ring from the early part of the 20th century features an impressive square cushion shaped old cut diamond in one of the most arresting mounts we have ever seen. The central diamond is flanked by a pair of half-moon natural sapphires, set in a knife-edge split shank. An Art Deco period ring with a strong Modernist feel, this is a piece that manages to be very much of it time and, because of it’s sheer beauty, utterly timeless.
