Art Deco 2.61 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1935
A big, seriously chunky old mine cut diamond is the crowning glory in this exceptional vintage engagement ring. The centre stone displays a warm, cognac hue and is secured in an eight claw platinum collet. The slightly bombé shaped shoulders are finely milgrained and set with twenty-four (twelve each side) eight-cut diamonds, so a slim, platinum shank.
