Art Deco 2.61 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, circa 1935
A big, seriously chunky old mine cut diamond is the crowning glory in this exceptional vintage engagement ring. The centre stone displays a warm, cognac hue and is secured in an eight claw platinum collet. The slightly bombé shaped shoulders are finely milgrained and set with twenty-four (twelve each side) eight-cut diamonds, so a slim, platinum shank.

Cut – Old mine cut in the centre, with eight-cuts in the shank.
Colour – Light brown (P).

Carat – The diamond is a known 2.61 carat with approximately 0.30 carat in the shoulders.

Measurements – The diamond in approximately 8.1 x 7.75mm. Sits 8mm from the finger.
