Art Deco 2.67 Carat Ceylon Sapphire & Diamond Ring, circa 1920
An absolutely amazing Art Deco sapphire ring. The centre stone – certified as natural, unheated, and originating from Ceylon (Sri Lanka) – is an absolutely glowing electric blue. The stone is secured in a four claw setting surrounded by sixteen white and bright eight-cut diamonds, with ornamental detailing in the gallery. Accompanied by a sapphire report from The Gem & Pearl Laboratory stating the sapphire shows no indications of heating, and is Sri Lankan (Ceylon) in origin.
Cut – Cushion cut sapphire with eight-cut diamonds.
Colour – The diamonds are F to G.
Clarity – The sapphire is loupe clean. The diamonds are VS1 to VS2.
Carat – The sapphire is a known 2.67 carat. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.24 carat.
Circa – 1920.
Size – Q (UK) or 8 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Measurements – The sapphire is 8.8 x 6.1mm. The head of the ring is 14.8 x 12.2mm and sits 6mm from the finger.
